Blechfabrik is a heartfelt tribute to the charm of old-fashioned tin toys. What started in 1973 as a young boy helping at a Christmas market in Düsseldorf grew into a lifelong passion for founder Hans-Heinrich Mückenheim. Over the years, that passion turned into a business..first as a retailer, then as a maker of tin toys under the DBS-Blechspielwaren brand. Today, Blechfabrik creates and collects beautifully crafted mechanical tin toys from around the world, with production in Germany, India, and China. Their goal is simple: to keep the magic of these nostalgic treasures alive for collectors and enthusiasts everywhere.
