This late 19th-century "Stack of Books" biscuit tin box is a part of John Derian's collection of vintage & antique goods. Produced by Huntley & Palmers of Reading, pioneers of the novelty biscuit box, this trompe-l’œil tin was designed to mimic bound volumes of books, a nod the company’s early use of playful, reusable packaging boxes.
