Late 18th-century Hand Painted German Doors

Within John Derian's curated collection of antique art and objects is this pair of hand painted doors from the early late 1700s. These two doors are likely from an antique Bauernschrank dating to between 1780–1880, a traditional German farmhouse cupboard often given as a “marriage cupboard” for storing clothing or linens. They feature hand-painted folk art with metal hardware and details.
